PRN Certified Medical Assistant (Weekends Only)

West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a Medical Assistant to be out in the field! Must be willing to drive within the Los Angeles, CA The Field MA is responsible for administering ultrasound therapy to patients in their respective homes 5 days a week, as well as materials management, scribing, performing chart checks, and coordinating skin sweeps one day per week. Responsible for obtaining data/metrics to facilitate our financial analysis of hiring for expansion and growth. Essential Job Functions Perform ultrasound therapy on wound patients. Order medical supplies. Scribe for respective doctors. Prepare patients for procedures. Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients. Coordinate skin sweep scheduling. Skin sweeps. Make Initial Assessment calls. Qualifications Valid MA Certification 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills Strong awareness of medical terminology Strong desire for patient care Schedule Saturday - Sunday 3-4 hrs/day Pay Structure (1099) $125/day #J-18808-Ljbffr
