Description – Your Future Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex clinical laboratory tests—covering areas like chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—adhering closely to established protocols.
• Evaluate results meticulously for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and handle preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare necessary samples for analysis as needed.
• Document procedures thoroughly, support the training of new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a pristine, secure workspace and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health qualification coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certification Expectations

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment term.
