Veterinary Technician - Critical Care

Overview BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians to work in our busy Emergency and Critical Care department. Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 / hour This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system. At BluePearl Pet Hospital, the role of Veterinary Technician is an exciting, fast-paced opportunity that will allow you to utilize the skills that you have worked so hard to gain. We will also give you the chance to expand and grow your skills, all while working alongside some of the most talented veterinary professionals. Responsibilities Triage and obtain patient history Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
