Sr. Inventory Management Specialist

Senior Inventory Management Specialist position at Thermo Fisher Scientific in College Station, Texas. Responsible for managing inventory operations at customer sites using RF scanners and mobile systems, ensuring efficient order processing and accurate stock records while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Use RF scanners and mobile apps to execute replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, and order entry
• Receive, inspect, and store shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records
• Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues
• Monitor stock levels proactively and communicate gaps or operational risks to supervisors
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement workflow improvements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–3 years of customer-facing, warehouse, or inventory control experience
• Proficiency with RF handheld scanners and mobile scanning applications
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, particularly via email
• Ability to lift 30–40 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and perform manual material handling for full shifts

Compensation: $23.10 per hour
