Global Logistics Coordinator On-Site (South Windsor, CT)The Global Logistics Coordinator position will provide essential support in the planning, execution, and compliance of inbound and outbound shipments for the Company while meeting safety, regulatory, cost and schedule requirements. A most successful Global Logistics Coordinator will have extensive logistics industry knowledge, compliances, Import/export acumen, strong communication skills, and is a critical thinker and problem-solver. They thrive in fast-paced environments while delivering quality work on tight deadlines.Role & ResponsibilityPlan, schedule and track inbound and outbound shipmentsPrepare and audit customs and shipping documentsManage freight forwarders, customs brokers, trucking companies, and others to meet performance and cost objectivesCollaborate & communicate cross-functionally on expectations and statusTroubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the logistics processEnsure shipping activities in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policiesIdentify opportunities to improve service, cost and complianceJob Requirement – Education & ExperienceBA/BS degree with 3+ years of experience working with freight forwarders and managing import/export shipmentsExperience and knowledge of shipping HAZMAT oversized cargo desiredStrong understanding of supply chain and logistics processesRelationship management of key service providersNegotiation with service providersJob Requirement – Knowledge & SkillsBA/BS degree with 3+ years of experience working with freight forwarders and managing import/export shipmentsExperience and knowledge of shipping HAZMAT oversized cargo desiredStrong understanding of supply chain and logistics processesRelationship management of key service providersNegotiation with service providers#MFT1Masis Staffing is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
