Position Overview Rowan Appliance is seeking an energetic, creative, and highly organized Marketing Associate to support TikTok LIVE programming, content creation, social media management, and offline event coordination. This full-time, on-site position requires regular weekend shifts based on livestream programming and event needs. The primary focus is co-hosting TikTok LIVE sessions and operating the backend, including product setup, promotions, audience engagement, and real-time coordination. The role also creates short-form content, manages social media, and supports trade shows, pop-ups, product demonstrations, and other offline brand activations. The ideal candidate is comfortable on camera, communicates naturally and professionally, understands social media culture, and balances creative work with detailed operational execution. Candidates must be able to work weekends and maintain a flexible schedule for livestreams, content production, and events. Key Responsibilities 1. TikTok LIVE Co-Hosting & Livestream Operations Work alongside the primary LIVE Host (contractor) as co-host and operations coordinator. Assist with product demonstrations; monitor comments and questions; provide timely product and promotional information; manage backend operations; coordinate livestream flow; and help deliver a smooth, engaging, professional customer experience. Operate TikTok LIVE backend functions, including product pinning, promotional tools, coupons, comments, moderation, and live metrics. Coordinate with the lead host and internal team before, during, and after livestreams to ensure products, scripts, offers, samples, lighting, equipment, and run-of-show materials are ready. Help prepare scripts, product talking points, demonstrations, promotional offers, and audience engagement activities. Monitor comments, questions, audience sentiment, viewer activity, and technical issues in real time; respond or elevate as appropriate. Assist with livestream setup, testing, scheduling, rehearsal, recording, and post-live performance review. Track viewers, engagement, clicks, conversion, sales, and recurring audience questions, and recommend improvements. Stay current on TikTok LIVE trends, platform features, content formats, competitor activity, and best practices. 2. Content Creation Create engaging photo and video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Meta platforms, e-commerce channels, and digital advertising. Develop short-form content from livestream highlights, product demonstrations, behind-the-scenes footage, customer questions, trends, and campaign concepts. Assist with product photography, lifestyle shoots, studio productions, unboxing videos, tutorials, and creative campaigns. Edit videos with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools, adding basic captions, graphics, music, transitions, and platform-specific formatting. Create basic graphics, visual assets, and marketing materials with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools. Write captions, hooks, scripts, social copy, and product-focused marketing content aligned with Rowan’s brand voice. Organize and maintain digital content, raw footage, approved assets, and media files. 3. Social Media Management Support daily management of Rowan’s social accounts, including scheduling, posting, tagging, community engagement, and basic performance tracking. Respond professionally and promptly to comments, direct messages, mentions, and community interactions. Assist with social media calendars, campaigns, product launches, giveaways, influencer collaborations, and promotions. Research social media trends, emerging formats, competitors, creators, keywords, hashtags, and platform updates. Review content performance and audience feedback to improve future creative concepts and posting strategies. Maintain a consistent, premium, and engaging brand presence across social channels. 4. Offline Event Coordination & Execution Assist in planning and coordinating trade shows, pop-up events, product demonstrations, media events, community activations, and other offline marketing activities. Support schedules, vendor communication, product samples, displays, signage, marketing materials, staffing, transportation, setup, and breakdown. Represent Rowan professionally at events; demonstrate products, engage attendees, capture leads, and create real-time event content. Coordinate event photography, video capture, social posting, and post-event follow-up materials. Track event tasks, deadlines, inventory, expenses, outcomes, and improvement opportunities. 5. General Marketing & Brand Support Support marketing campaigns, product launches, influencer outreach, partnerships, and other brand-building initiatives. Assist with basic customer and community questions involving livestreams, social media, and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with marketing, sales, e-commerce, product, and operations teams on cross-functional projects. Support other marketing and operational responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, Design, or a related field preferred. Comfortable appearing on camera and speaking naturally during live broadcasts. Strong verbal communication, presentation, improvisation, and audience engagement skills. Experience with TikTok LIVE, livestream selling or production, social commerce, or on-camera hosting strongly preferred. Experience creating and editing short-form social media content. Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube, and current social media trends. Familiarity with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or similar creative tools. Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Regular weekend availability and flexibility for occasional evening shifts to support TikTok LIVE sessions, campaigns, launches, trade shows, and other company events. Positive attitude, professionalism, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills. Recent graduates with relevant experience, portfolios, or strong creative and on-camera skills are encouraged to apply. Bonus Qualifications Experience with TikTok Shop, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or other e-commerce platforms. Experience operating livestream software, cameras, microphones, lighting, or studio equipment. Basic photography and videography skills. Experience coordinating trade shows, pop-up events, or brand activations. Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, or content automation tools.
