What's the job?

• Process and distribute daily customer invoices
• Review and validate billing documentation, including purchase orders, bills of lading, scale tickets and freight paperwork
• Monitor and manage billing-related email communications
• Research and resolve rejected invoices and customer billing discrepancies
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation and indexing records
• Respond to customer billing inquiries and provide exceptional service
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure billing accuracy and timeliness
• Support additional accounting and administrative projects as needed

What's needed?

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum two years of billing experience
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience with Great Plains software preferred
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Transportation or chemical industry experience is a plus
