Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Peri-Anesthesia

SCHEDULE
10-Hour shift length, Varied start times, includes weekend coverage

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40

REQUIREMENTS
- Current licensure with the state Board of Registered Nursing
- Current BLS Certification
- EPIC EMR experience
- Experience in both Pre-Op and Post-op for surgery patients
- Experience in occasional Pre-Op of GI patients

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide nursing care for patients before and after surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery progress.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare patients for surgery by explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Administer medications and other interventions as prescribed.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Scrubs provided.
- Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions are required to float as needed.
