Job Summary

PHI Air Medical operates under CAMTS guidelines with flights conducted on a BH407 VFR/NVG platform. The position requires a 24‑hour day/night rotation schedule. Successful applicants will participate in community outreach programs and adhere to PHI Air Medical policies. Responsibilities include:

• Perform line pilot duties in accordance with GOM.
• Support the Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other company safety campaigns.
• Work with both internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of patients and equipment, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.

Relocation packages are available with a 2‑year minimum service requirement per CBA. If relocation is utilized, a 1‑year minimum service requirement applies. Off‑duty housing is provided.

Compensation and Benefits

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Commercial and Instrument helicopter ratings.
• First‑class medical certification.
• CAMTS requirement: 2,000 total flight hours, 1,500 hours on helicopter, 1,000 hours as PIC on helicopters, 500 hours on turbine helicopters, 100 hours in unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided night operations and 100 hours with NVG.
• Weight restriction policy: individual weight ≤ 235 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills (internal and external).
• Acceptance by PHI management and customer interviews.
• Annual flu vaccine not required.
• Pre‑placement physical exam, functional capacity exam, drug screening, background screen; must pass lift 100‑pound test.

Schedule / Location

Schedule: 7‑day, 7‑hour shifts with day‑of‑week base changes and possible schedule adjustments.
