Endoscopy Technician – Surgical Services

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (4x10 Hours, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM) | No Call | No Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in endoscopy procedures, ensuring proper setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment and supplies
• Support clinical staff in delivering safe, high-quality patient care throughout endoscopic procedures
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records system for accurate and timely documentation
• Utilize Provation software for procedure documentation and reporting
• Float within scope of practice to support unit needs as required
• Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) certification required at time of submission
• Certified Endoscopy Registered (CER) certification required at time of submission; both SGNA and CER must be held simultaneously
• Demonstrated experience with EPIC electronic health records
• Demonstrated experience with Provation documentation software
• Valid state licensure or pending license (must be active by the Wednesday prior to start date)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract assignment experience in a hospital or surgical services setting
• Familiarity with endoscopy unit workflows and gastroenterology procedures
