Job Title Faculty Non-Tenure Track - 9 months Location Trumbull Campus, Warren, OH Basic Function Non‑tenure track faculty teaching position at the Trumbull Campus with an opportunity to teach undergraduate courses in Information Technology. Responsibilities Teach five courses in spring and fall semesters, including beginning and advanced courses in Information Technology. Areas of specialization may include computer hardware and software, network hardware and software, healthcare IT, web design and development, multimedia, ethical hacking, enterprise systems and mobile devices, and Adobe Suite. Design and deliver course content, facilitate discussions, and provide student feedback and guidance. Qualifications Earned master’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field. Quality Matters certification or willingness to become certified. Professional development to remain current is expected. Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts understandably. History of professionalism in interactions with students, colleagues, and industry partners. High ethical standards and adherence to institutional values. Ability to participate in person for campus events. Three (3) years of applied IT industry experience and/or prior online teaching or training experience preferred. One or more industry certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, Adobe Suite, MS Office, or Server+). Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, or up to 10 pounds frequently to move objects. Must be able to communicate with others and may be required to move between buildings frequently and travel off campus occasionally. Other Requirements Must pass a security check.
