Sewer & Drain Apprentice Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior technicians with installation of sewer and drain repairs.
Excavate indoor and outdoor underground drain systems to prepare them for repair or renovation.
Perform restoration of excavated areas using stone, soil, concrete, and asphalt where necessary.
Operate a light dump truck to haul materials to and from jobsites.
Learn to operate drain cleaning machines, jetters, augers, and camera inspection equipment. As you mature, you may be given the opportunity to learn how to tow heavy equipment, operate mini-excavators and other larger tools.
Prepare job sites by gathering tools, materials, and safety equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of tools, vehicles, and work areas.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Provide excellent customer service while on job sites.
Participate in ongoing training and development to build technical skills and industry knowledge.
Sewer & Drain Apprentice Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments (crawl spaces, basements, outdoors, etc.).
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Positive attitude, contributing to a winning team.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Prior plumbing or mechanical experience is a plus but not required.
