Contract Price/Cost Analyst

Duties

Help determine admissibility of proposed cost elements for fixed price and cost type contracts.

Recommend cost limitations to be imposed based on the reasonableness of profit or fee.

Provide recommendations to the Contracting Officer for negotiating adjustments of the contract price.

Evaluate contractor's financial data to determine need for government financing.

Administer advance or progress payments to minimize risk to the government.

Serve as Field Pricing Specialist.

Maintain contact with representatives of contractors and various Defense Department Administrative and Audit Agencies.

Determine final profit based on incentive contract sharing provision stated in the contract.

Negotiate settlement agreements.

Serve on Source Selection Evaluation Boards
