Supply Systems Analyst

The Supply Systems Analyst analyzes transactions/data to determine problem area; determine the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions.

Essential Functions of the Position

• Provides the impact of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations.
• Coordinates with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems.
• Research functional problem area.
• Performs as the WMS POC to serve as the focal point for the Government in receiving communication and responding to information pertaining to WMS.
• Performs WMS-MIS functions IAW C-5.1.3.2 WMS-MIS.
• Serves as the QMF query writer to write new queries as required.
• Uses WMS and other Government Data Systems.
• Performs other relevant duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No direct supervisory duties.

Physical Demands

• Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

• Indoor/Outdoor; exposure to external environmental conditions possible.
• Noise level can range from minimal to intense.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience shall include a minimum of three (3) years of experience using WMS or equivalent. Warehouse Management System (WMS) within the past five (5) years.
• Requires knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships in order to conduct studies, reviews, and investigations.
• Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures is required to manage and control material through the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and/or transportation functions.
• Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
• Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Must have strong organizational and group presentation skills.
• Well-developed multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Must have computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Possess a Valid Drivers' License without special restrictions.
