Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care in a Family Birth Center specializing in labor and delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care. This role is based in a rural hospital setting, offering professional growth and the opportunity to make a difference in patient lives.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer acute and emergency care to laboring mothers and postpartum patients.
  
  
• 
  Monitor fetal well-being through fetal heart monitoring and other diagnostic tools.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families on childbirth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, safety standards, and hospital policies.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid CA State Registered Nurse license with Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks.
  
  
• 
  Possess current AHA or ARC certifications, including ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring.
  
  
• 
  Have at least 2 years of recent clinical experience in labor and delivery.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate adaptability, clinical confidence, and compassionate patient care skills.
  
  
• 
  Complete all onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing.
  
  
• 
  Provide accurate 7-year work history verification and references within the past year.
