Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Join Our Growing Dental Team!

Location: Menifee, CA
Job Type: Full-Time, 4 Days/Week
Compensation: $50-55/hr

Position Summary:

Our hygienists will play a vital role in promoting oral health and delivering outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about educating patients while providing high-quality preventive dental services. Under indirect supervision, the Dental Hygienist will remove hard and soft deposits from teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. He or she will educate patients on oral hygiene, provide preventative dental care, take and develop X-rays, or apply fluoride or sealants.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct dental prophylactic cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planning procedures
• Perform patient assessments and record medical and dental histories
• Take and interpret dental radiographs as permitted by state regulations
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and treatment recommendations
• Assist in identifying signs of oral disease and communicate findings to the dentist
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols as well as HIPAA standards for patient confidentiality
• Collaborate with dentists and team members to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in CA
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
• Experience with dental software and electronic health records preferred
