Lead Housekeeper

All Points North is hiring! We’re currently seeking a Lead Housekeeper. Broad Statement of Responsibilities Create a welcoming and clean environment for clients and staff. Manage the housekeeping team, their schedules, and their duties to ensure efficient and effective management of the facilities and buildings. Able to stand for 8+ hours Able to squat, bend, kneel, and lift 50 lbs Knowledge of various computer programs and the ability to multitask Management skills and experience Familiarity with industry’s best practices and local vendors Leadership experience Time-management skills Capable of making good decision Ability to handle pressure well Ability to deal with uncertainty Familiarity with client admissions and departure procedures Education Required: High school diploma or GED. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality preferred. Experience 5+ years of housekeeping experience and 2+ years supervisory experience. Special Skills & Knowledge Candidates should have the following skills and attributes: must be able to work and communicate well with people; be adaptable and accept changes quickly and easily; be willing to address conflict appropriately. Basic computer skills are required with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based products knowledge a bonus. Position Duties and Responsibilities Directs housekeeping department with assistance of the Housekeeping Supervisor Helps in the design systems to ensure efficiency and delineation of tasks related to facility management Produces timely and accurate information to communicate with other department heads regarding guest and departmental needs. Oversees operation of housekeeping function and checks quality of work Assists with hospitality department inventory, ordering, and organization of housekeeping items. Ensures that client response quality is up to standards facilities are clean and sanitized Assists with the organization of client arrivals and departure processes to ensure room cleanliness. Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the department’s performance. Assists in the supervision and organization of spa facilities, treatments, and PMS systems Submit request for product ordering and inventory. Monitors and maintains communications with the hospitality staff Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the building- communicating with proper avenues to create solutions to the details.
