TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Dallas, Texas, 75230!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Strong ICU experience Experience with titrating drips Experience with patients on vents and Bipap Description: This position is in an Oncology ICU. The unit has a total of 10 beds and is staffed with 4 nurses. Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and additional RNs according to patient census. No techs are present on the unit. Night shift staffing follows the same pattern, with 1 charge and RNs based on patient census. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 2:1. The unit is equipped with ventilators, CRRT, A-lines, Bipap machines, Flow-track, and IV pumps. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates should have experience with CRRT and be familiar with transplant care (kidney, pancreas, liver). Typical procedures include total care for critically ill patients, turning, titrating drips, performing dressing changes, and trach care. The ideal candidate should be compassionate, work well with others, and establish good rapport with physicians. Floating is expected to all ICUs, PCU, and BMT. The dress code is blue scrubs. Weekend rotations are required.
