Principal Software Alliances Director, Workday Wellness

Role Overview The Partner Strategy and Growth team in the Global Partner Organization leads strategy, planning and business development for the partner business at Workday. This role focuses on the Workday Wellness Partner Manager, who will lead our most strategic partner relationships in the Workday Wellness platform, part of the Workday Benefits & Pay hub. Responsibilities Lead strategic partner relationships and deliver sizable, net‑new revenue growth with partners. Establish trust with partners, develop joint go‑to‑market plans, and execute against those plans to ensure partner success. Manage complex and bespoke partner relationships, coordinating with CEOs, VPs, and other senior leaders. Communicate at all levels within partner organizations and advocate for Workday Wellness internally. Take ownership and accountability, move with speed, and deliver results on behalf of the partner. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support partner success and drive mutual growth. Qualifications Basic Qualifications 5+ years in SaaS companies. 5+ years of partner account management experience, including framing, structuring and executing large and complex partner deals. 5+ years of experience in US healthcare, financial services or insurance industries. Preferred Qualifications Ability to engage with executives, facilitate business development, identify large‑scale greenfield opportunities, and deliver business and revenue outcomes. Consistent record of exceeding targets and customer impact. Ability to influence senior leaders and executives. Experience in software and ERP sales. Strong written and oral presentation skills. Compensation & Benefits Primary Location: USA. IL. Chicago – Base Pay Range: $173,400 USD – $260,200 USD. Additional US Locations – Base Pay Range: $157,000 USD – $278,800 USD. Role may include Workday Bonus Plan or role‑specific commission/bonus, and annual refresh stock grants.
