Job Description Avacend Health is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for an opportunity with a leading Level I Trauma and academic medical center in Atlanta, GA. Surgical Technologist / Surgical Tech Contract opportunity Fast-paced acute-care and trauma environment Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary surgical team Previous Surgical Technologist experience required Strong OR and sterile-field experience Knowledge of surgical instruments and aseptic technique BLS required/preferred based on facility requirements Trauma or large acute-care hospital experience is a plus Prepare operating rooms, maintain sterile technique, organize surgical instruments and supplies, assist the surgical team during procedures, and ensure proper instrument counts and handling.
