Glen Park Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mandarin-speaking Caregiver to assist our residents with daily living activities while creating a supportive, healthy environment where they can thrive. Job Summary As a Direct Care Staff member, you will assist elderly residents, convalescents, and individuals with disabilities in a care facility setting. You will provide hands‑on support with daily living activities while promoting residents’ comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs. Daily Living Support: Assist residents with eating, mobility, positioning, and other activities of daily living. Meal Assistance: Prepare, serve, and assist residents with meals and snacks as needed. Resident Safety: Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition, incidents, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Activities: Participate in and support the facility’s Activities Program to promote social engagement and quality of life. Communication: Communicate respectfully with residents, families, coworkers, and management regarding resident needs and care. Documentation: Follow care plans and accurately document required resident care and observations. Housekeeping: Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized living environment, including light housekeeping duties. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with caregivers, MedTechs, nurses, office staff, and other departments to provide quality resident care. Ongoing Training: Attend required monthly and quarterly in‑services and complete all required training. Professionalism: Maintain confidentiality, respect residents’ privacy and dignity, and follow all company policies and procedures. For Residents with Developmental Disabilities Follow the facility’s Program Design. Complete specialized training as required. Support goals outlined in each resident’s Individual Program Plan (IPP). Maintain accurate progress notes documenting IPP objectives and accomplishments. AM/PM shifts.
