Audit Manager

Location: Buffalo, Batavia, or Rochester, NY (Hybrid) We are partnering with a top 25 CPA firm that is looking to add a Healthcare Audit Manager to its growing assurance practice in the Buffalo, Batavia, or Rochester area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with healthcare clients while mentoring staff and taking on increasing leadership responsibilities. Responsibilities Manage audit and assurance engagements for healthcare organizations, including hospitals, physician groups, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare providers. Plan, execute, and review financial statement audits in accordance with GAAS and applicable regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement process. Supervise, coach, and mentor senior associates and staff, providing ongoing technical guidance and professional development. Review workpapers, financial statements, and other engagement deliverables to ensure quality and compliance with firm standards. Identify opportunities to improve client processes and provide value-added recommendations. Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on engagement planning, staffing, and client service strategies. Support business development initiatives by participating in networking and maintaining strong client relationships. Qualifications CPA license required. 5+ years of recent public accounting audit experience. Prior experience managing engagements and supervising staff. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS. Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship skills. Ability to work in a hybrid environment in either the Buffalo, Batavia, or Rochester, NY area. #J-18808-Ljbffr Navigate Search
