Who was really responsible for the wet floor? Did the security company follow its own post orders? Was the product altered after it left the factory? The answers decide most general liability cases, and they're found by lawyers who go looking: in the maintenance logs, the CCTV, the incident reports and the questions nobody else thought to ask at deposition.

The work

\n

• Premises liability, negligent security, products liability and commercial general liability defense

\n

• Early investigation and case evaluation, with your recommendations going straight to the carrier

\n

• Depositions of fact witnesses, corporate representatives and liability experts

\n

• Dispositive motions and hearings argued by you

\n

• Trial preparation and trial work, leading at first chair as you're ready

\n

• Ongoing contact with adjusters and insured businesses

\n

\n

The fit

\n

• Florida civil litigation experience, ideally insurance defense

\n

• Florida Bar license

\n

• Curiosity, persistence and a healthy suspicion of the first version of events

\n

\n

Experience is rewarded

\n

\n

The salary range is deliberately broad. An experienced attorney or counsel can expect to take on the most complex claims, lead trial teams, mentor associates and build carrier relationships of their own, and to be paid in line with that.

\n

\n
