Role Overview As a Medical Lab Technician Sr, you will perform advanced diagnostic testing and quality control procedures, prepare reagents, and report results in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role oversees and reviews moderate to high complexity testing, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance while supporting daily laboratory operations. Key Responsibilities Include: Performing advanced diagnostic testing and quality control procedures Preparing reagents and reporting test results in accordance with established policies and procedures Reviewing and overseeing moderate to high complexity testing Maintaining laboratory equipment, supplies, and computer applications Assisting with training and competency evaluation of testing personnel Ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance in all testing activities Organizing daily laboratory functions and responding to emergency situations Performing other duties as assigned in support of laboratory operations Qualifications Education Required : Associate's degree in Laboratory Science OR Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution OR equivalent training and education Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in a related field Experience Required : One (1) year of active clinical laboratory experience Preferred : Minimum of four (4) months of clinical laboratory experience Licensure / Certification Required : State of Florida Technician License What We Offer BayCare provides a competitive total rewards package designed to support your career and well‑being, including: Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits Tuition Assistance 401(k) Match plus Annual Employer Contribution Career development and professional growth opportunities Wellness programs and community perks BayCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
