CPA/Acounting Manager

We are currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Butner, NC that is seeking an experienced CPA or Senior Accounting professional to join its leadership team. Role Description The CPA / Senior Accountant will serve as a key financial leader within the organization, overseeing critical accounting functions and supporting strategic business initiatives. This full-time, on-site position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights that drive operational and business decisions. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Managing general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Analyzing manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and operational performance metrics Maintaining and improving internal controls and accounting procedures Assisting with audit preparation and coordination with external auditors and tax advisors Ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable financial regulations Partnering with operations and executive leadership to identify opportunities for efficiency and profitability improvements Providing financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making Qualifications Active CPA designation strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial analysis Knowledge of inventory accounting and manufacturing cost structures Proficiency with ERP systems, accounting software, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally with operations and leadership teams Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Huff Consulting, LLC
