Receptionist

Receptionist PositionThis role is responsible for overall front office administrative and receptionist duties. Must be reliable, punctual, organized, and have a proven ability to multitask in a high paced office environment. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, professional phone etiquette, and typing ability (data entry). Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook is preferred. The company is subject to certain federal regulations and directives regarding a drug free workplace. Because of the company's federal obligations and directives, as an employee of an analytical laboratory such as ARL Bio Pharma Inc., you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process, or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana.Work Schedule: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.Essential FunctionsReceive and route telephone calls to staff members; announce callers, take brief messages, pass messages via email system or connect callers to staff members direct lineMaintain confidentiality and take accurate messagesMail, fax, or email time sensitive documents to clientsScan all data packets and import them into systemUpdate and enter client accounts upon requestPerform filing of related documentsPosition RequirementsHigh school diplomaAt least 1 year experience of working within an office environmentExperience with Intact or other online filing system is preferred1-3 years of prior receptionist or administrative work is preferredExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong people skillsAbility to work with a sense of urgencyStrong reliability and punctualityStrong attention to detailExperience with answering multi-line phone systemsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office programsWork Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. Attendance at the office is required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical Demands: This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
