Position Summary
The Masonry Laborer/Hod Carrier, supports masons by preparing materials, maintaining job site efficiency, and ensuring a steady workflow. This role is critical in assisting with the construction of brick, block, and stone structures by transporting materials, mixing mortar, and keeping work areas organized and safe.

Qualifications
- Previous construction or masonry experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50–100+ lbs regularly).
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
- Ability to work at heights and on scaffolding.
- Capable of working in various weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain.
Work Environment
- Primarily outdoor construction sites.
- Exposure to dust, noise, and heavy equipment.
- Fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with masonry tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with mixing ratios for mortar and concrete.
- Ability to read basic measurements and follow layout instructions.
Compensation & Schedule
- Full-time position with potential overtime.
