Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: - Must be comfortable with baby and delivered mother Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The nurse will provide care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. Experience with administration of medications, monitoring fetal heart rates, and assisting with deliveries is essential. Candidates should have skills in pain assessment and management, IV therapy, and postpartum care. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, social services, and interpretation services. The nurse must demonstrate proficiency in using electronic health records and fetal monitoring systems. Trauma experience and familiarity with charting systems are preferred. The ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Candidates should be prepared for weekend coverage as needed.
