Senior Accountant

Accounting ProfessionalWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized accounting professional to join our team at our corporate headquarters. This hands-on role is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, overseeing accounts payable and receivable activities, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with monthly financial close processes.The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, supervisory experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and support accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions, including high-volume data entry, customer billing, and collections.Manage cash receipts, disbursements, and weekly cash projections.Assist with monthly financial close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.Administer the corporate credit card program, including related accounting activities.Prepare and submit biweekly payroll to a third-party processor.Prepare and submit monthly Texas sales and use tax remittances.Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.Assist the Controller with special projects and other accounting tasks as needed.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in AccountingMinimum of 3 years of experience supervising accounting professionals.Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.Intermediate Excel proficiency, including formulas and spreadsheet templates.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and data entry accuracy.Preferred Qualification:CPA candidate.Work Location: This position requires full-time onsite attendance at our Austin, TX 78741 office.
