Athletic Intern - Temporary Part-time (No benefits)

Pay Grade / Pay Range Not Graded Department / Organization 600151 - Academic Tutoring Normal Work Schedule Varies Job Summary The Athletic Intern assists in the daily operations of the Athletic Department. Provides practice coverage for assigned sport. Serve as the onsite liaison for student athletes. Additional Department Summary Assist with comprehensive academic and career counseling to support student athletes in identifying and meeting their academic goals leading to graduation and career development. Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in any field, OR individuals currently enrolled in college completing their undergraduate studies. Skills and Knowledge Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Basic knowledge in the usage of personal computers, including word processing. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in counseling, education, athletic administration, or related area. Experience tutoring college students or working within an academic advising setting. Knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
