We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Gas Engineer who will play a vital role in assisting the Gas Network/Service Engineer to install, replace and maintain underground pipework and associated equipment at customer’s premises and public highways. The Ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team and possess strong customer service skills. They will also be able to prioritise well and work to tight schedules. Key Responsibilities Will Include Work safely at all times wearing relevant PPE Assist the Gas Network/Service Engineer with all aspects of the role Domestic & Commercial site work including installations, replacement and maintenance of underground pipe work. Manual handling Operating Pneumatic tooling in a safe manner Use of breathing apparatus Travel will be required as part of the role. As Such We Would Like You To Hold a full, valid UK driving licence Must be eligible to work unrestricted in the UK Experience in a similar role Be flexible and willing to travel Have strong customer services skills Be an organised individual Ideally hold a EUSR SHEA Gas safety qualification Ideally hold a NRSWA certificate for operatives Ideally Hold a NPORS plant operators qualification If this sounds like you, please apply by clicking the link below.
