Requirements

• 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting, with at least 1 year in OBGYN
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program
• Certs: BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• Education: High School diploma or GED
• Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture
• Secondary OBGYN questionnaire required at the time of submission

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient care
• Perform medical procedures under the supervision of medical staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Prepare patients for examinations
• Administer injections and medications as directed
