Position: Cyber Security Engineer Location: Franklin or Madison County, Ohio Interview Type: In-person interview; onsite after candidate screening. Candidates will work onsite in Franklin or Madison County. Responsibilities Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect DRC data, systems, and networks. Respond to all system and/or network security breaches. Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities. Evaluate the organization’s security needs and establish best practices and standards accordingly. Take appropriate security measures to ensure DRC’s infrastructure and existing data are kept safe. Perform scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability scans across networks, servers, and endpoints. Analyze scan results, validate findings, and prioritize remediation based on risk and exploitability. Partner with IT team and application teams to coordinate remediation and verify fixes. Tune scans and reduce false positives to improve data accuracy. Develop vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reports. Qualifications & Skills 10+ years experience with network security and threat detection (required). 10+ years experience with incident response and vulnerability management (required). 10+ years experience administering Qualys (required). 10+ years experience with remediation documentation and patch management processes (required). 4-year college degree (highly desired).
