Special Education Teacher

Position:Special Education Teacher Location:Milford High School Schedule:2026-2027 School Year Salary:Per Teachers' Contract To Start:August 24, 2026 (plus 2 mentoring days prior to start date) Qualifications: * Massachusetts Department of Education Teacher License- Certified in Moderate and/or Severe Special Needs with SEI endorsement * Knowledge and experience with Curriculum Frameworks of Portfolio Assessments * Experience administering MCAS * Experience administering and interpreting diagnostic assessments * Experienced administering evaluations * Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism * High School experience preferred Responsibilities: * Liaison for students on caseload * Develop and modify curriculum and curriculum materials for each student * Co-teach and/or small group classroom instruction * Supervise assistants in the classroom * Complete evaluations and reports for initial and re-evaluation of students * Write IEPs and progress reports * Facilitate annual review meetings according to regulations and timelines * Ability to use software credit recovery system
