Reporting to the Registrar, you'll be the person behind the scenes making sure all the data is in place for students to earn degrees! This position provides support for all registrar functions.The successful candidate will be exceptionally organized, and have a firm understanding of data management, analysis, and presentation. Knowledge of student information systems and learning management systems used in higher education is preferable.Essential Functions:Assist the Registrar with processes within the College's Student Information System (SIS) to include course registration functions, grading, withdrawals, and transcript evaluationsAssist the Registrar in the maintenance of degree audits including all curriculum changesComplete all incoming transcript requestsAssist the Registrar in completing graduation auditsAssess and confirm the validity of transcripts received from outside educational entitiesOrganize and complete transcript evaluations with the use of Microsoft Planner to obtain academic approval of course equivalenciesProcess transfer credits and substitution waiversManage clearance collection for academic studentsCreate and mail student IDs for all academic and workforce development studentsComplete enrollment and education verification requestsCreate and mail diplomasParticipate on the Transfer Evaluation TeamParticipate on the Commencement CommitteeActive professional development on issues relating to registrar functionsAttend College meetings and serve on College committees as assignedAssist the Registrar with daily operations of the Office and assume administrative responsibilities in the absence of the RegistrarOther duties as assigned by the RegistrarAdditional Eligibility Requirements:Not ApplicableClearance Requirements:PA Child Abuse History ClearancePennsylvania Access To Criminal History Record CheckFederal Criminal History Background CheckTraining Certificate - Mandated and Permissive Reporting in PennsylvaniaPhysical Requirements:Ability to communicate in English, orally and/or in writingAbility to read, comprehend, and recall instructions and guidelinesAbility to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate informationDriving, standing, walking, and sittingUse of hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and armsMust be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs./12 kg.Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focusWorking Conditions/Work Schedule:Office Location: NPRC Administrative Location 300 Second Avenue, Warren, PA 16365, Fifth Floor OfficeWork hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Thursday, and 8:30 am to 4:30 pm FridayNotwithstanding the office hours, full-time salaried employees are expected to work 37 hours weeklyTravel Requirements:Infrequent travel requiredOther Duties:Perform other duties as assignedNorthern Pennsylvania Regional College (NPRC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
