Medical intermediate is a 30‑bed unit that cares for a variety of diagnoses and complex medical conditions, including surgical, cardiac, and stroke patients. The nursing team values unit teamwork, quality patient care, and has a passion for growth and development. With several experienced charge nurses who joined the team upon the unit’s opening, this group has a strong foundation and is eagerly looking forward to growing our team. Support staff on this unit include nursing assistants, a clinical coordinator, and a clinical educator. Shift Details Position: Full‑Time Days Schedule: 12‑hour shifts In a hospital setting, you will be accountable for utilizing the nursing process. You are responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient‑care tasks, supervising other patient‑care staff, coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients, and consulting with other members of the health‑care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures. Ideal Candidate Will Have Active Missouri RN license (or compact license) Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills Passion for patient‑centered care Job Requirements Applicable Experience: 1 year Basic Life Support—American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse—Various Associate Degree.
