Job Title

Registered Nurse – NICU (Level II Nursery)

Location

Hagerstown, MD | NICU / Level II Nursery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonates in a Level II Nursery setting, including infants 29–34 weeks gestational age
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 in accordance with unit standards
• Float to well baby unit within scope of practice to meet facility needs, as needed
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling and may be expected to work some holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (pending license considered)
• Minimum 1 year of NICU Level II experience with neonates 29–34 weeks
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted (exceptions may be considered with approval for select specialties)
• After 1 year on assignment, travelers must separate for a minimum of 90 days before being eligible to return; former permanent employees must have been separated for a minimum of 1 year before returning as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to well baby or other nursery units
• Familiarity with Relias or Net Learning compliance module platforms
• Ability to accommodate a block scheduling format
