Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, has an opportunity for a Material Handler. The Material Handler efficiently and accurately unloads, loads, and stacks commercial tires on and off company vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently unload tires from company vehicles onto pallets following best practice standards and company procedures.
- Verifies and confirms the paperwork and physical inventory are identical.
- Assist in safely loading of outbound product onto company vehicles following best practice standards and company procedures.
- Ability to safely operate company equipment including forklift and pallet jack.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment. Follow all operational procedures to protect our assets.
- Adheres to internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Perform other distribution related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift certified.
Skills/Knowledge
- Commitment to teamwork, a positive attitude, and customer focused.
- Understands the importance of being accountable.
- Physically demanding work. Ability to lift 150 pounds frequently.
- Able to be on feet for long periods of time.
