Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (Must be from American Heart Association) Must-Have: Must be comfortable supporting patients and surgeons with significant traumatic injuries. Must have the ability to anticipate the needs in terms of instruments, supplies, and equipment. Description: Join a state-of-the-art 198 bed level III trauma center. The facility provides healthcare services to a diverse patient population, including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. Additional services include a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, and day surgery center. The facility has gained recognition as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. Experience an adventurous setting with opportunities for hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing. Patient care in the operating room involves varying specialties, including Urology, Neuro, General, GYN, Podiatry, Plastic, Ortho, Dental, and ENT. The position requires working in ten operating rooms with patient ratios of 1:1. Flexibility to work occasional weekends and participate in variable call shifts (4-5 shifts per month) is essential. Candidates must be highly skilled, experienced in handling both basic procedures and complicated trauma cases, and must possess confidence and competence in their role. Experience interacting with a diverse age range of patients is preferred. Proficiency in neuro, ortho, trauma, vascular, and Client is required.
