IMG Academy is one of the best athletic training environments in the world. Professional quality facilities and immaculately maintained grounds are the standard. This position is a great opportunity for an individual who is eager to learn all facets of golf course maintenance. A strong ability to work well with coworkers and supervisors in a team environment is expected. Key Responsibilities:Assist with daily course setup: mowing, raking bunkers, moving tee markers, and changing pin locationsSafley operate and clean equipment such as mowers, utility carts, and small power tools Rake and maintain sand bunkersEdge and trim around greens, bunkers, cart paths, and pondsRemove debris, leaves, and litter from course groundsReport course conditions and any equipment issues to supervisorsOther duties as assigned by managementQualifications:Strong attention to detail and positive attitudeTeam oriented with good communication skillsAbility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.Reliable transportation and punctuality requiredProven ability to work effectively in a team environment with employees while adapting to new ideas and techniques.Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and/or frequently deal with a rapidly changing work schedule and environment throughout the dayPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentAbility to lift, carry, move, push and pull equipment or boxes up to 40lbsAbility to stand and walk for duration of shiftAbility to work on various indoor and outdoor surfaces including grass, turf, courts, etc. in all weatherMust be able to push and pull carts and equipment JobFamilyGOLF CLUBPayTypeHourly
