PROMAN Staffing is partnered with a well-known distribution warehouse in Hernando, MS and is now hiring 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT PRODUCTION ASSOCIATES who are team players, versatile, and dependable!

SHIFT AND PAY RATE

• 1ST shift –6:30AM-3PM Monday through Friday plus mandatory overtime when needed ($17.00/hr)
• 2ND shift--2:30PM-1:00AM Monday through Thursday plus mandatory overtime when needed ($18.00/hr)
• Schedule is Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to work Saturdays and/or Sundays when needed

POSITION SUMMARY

Working under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by performing assembly, packaging, inspection, material handling, and other production-related tasks. This position focuses on maintaining product quality, meeting production schedules, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble products and components according to work instructions and quality standards.
• Inspect materials and finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
• Sort, count, and organize materials, parts, and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records as required.
• Replenish workstations with materials and supplies.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Report quality concerns, damaged materials, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist team members with production tasks to meet daily production goals.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as required.
• Perform other general production duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or production experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift; heavier items may require team lift or mechanical assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
• Ability to work in an industrial environment with regular exposure to chemicals, including use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, chemical-resistant footwear, goggles, and face shields.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and monitor multiple processes simultaneously.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work is performed in an industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to chemicals, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
• Position may involve exposure to chemical splashes, fumes, vapors, and airborne particulates.
• Work may involve handling or working in proximity to corrosive and other hazardous chemicals in a controlled environment.
• Exposure to noise, vibrations, and other conditions typical of a production environment.
• Employees are required to follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
