Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon Assistant Professor

THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA DIVISION OF CARDIAC, THORACIC AND VASCULAR SURGERY The Division of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery in the Department of Surgery seeks a pediatric cardiac surgeon, assistant professor to support our pediatric and adult congenital cardiac surgery practice. Responsibilities will include operating, postoperative care, transplant harvesting and participation in all educational activities as determined by the senior surgeon. Close mentorship will occur in all aspects of pediatric heart surgery. Qualifications will need to include a MD degree, board certified or eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Candidates should be fellowship trained from an accredited institution, professional, highly motivated, hard-working, and dedicated to high-quality outcomes in surgery. Candidates should be able to fulfill requirements to obtain an Oklahoma State Medical License as well OBNDD and DEA. Background checks will be performed as well as a review of all surgical quality data.
