Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Maple Grove, MN

Specialty: Labor and Delivery

Position Type: Travel

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $2003 - $2413 | Shift: 3x12 Rotating

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to patients and families throughout various stages of life.
Develop and update patient care plans, ensuring coordination among different healthcare disciplines.
Engage in shared accountability and collaborative decision-making regarding nursing practices.
Ensure the safety and comfort of both mother and baby during labor and delivery.
Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience in high-risk labor and delivery is essential.
Proficiency in fetal monitoring and antepartum care is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting is necessary.
Current certifications in BLS and NRP are mandatory.
Familiarity with the Epic electronic health records system is required.

Working Conditions

This position involves a travel component, requiring flexibility in scheduling and adaptability to various clinical environments.
