Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours/week
Setting: In-Person

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to provide specialized instruction and support to students with a variety of disabilities. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple grade levels and school settings while collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers.

School Sites & Caseload

• Site 1: Pre-K–Kindergarten

• Site 2: Grades 5–8

• Caseload includes students with various disabilities and learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and academic support based on individual student needs.

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, related service providers, and school staff.

• Maintain accurate student records and special education documentation.

• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with special education requirements.

• Build positive relationships with students and support their academic and social-emotional development.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist/Special Education teaching license required.

• Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities preferred.

• Ability to work comfortably with students across different grade levels.

• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

Ideal Candidate

An experienced Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher who is comfortable supporting students with diverse needs and working across both early childhood and middle school settings.
