Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting diverse learners as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a district-wide K-12 setting. This full-time position offers consistency and variety, working up to 37.5 hours per week throughout the 2026-2027 school year (ASAP–June 16, 2027).

You’ll collaborate with experienced speech-language pathologists to deliver targeted interventions, helping students maximize their communication and classroom success. Your expertise will serve students across a range of ages and needs, fostering growth and building essential skills for lifelong learning.

Qualifications:

• Active Washington State SLPA license is required
• Previous experience working in educational settings is strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively with K-12 students of varying abilities
• Collaborative approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Organized, adaptable, and able to manage caseload dynamics district-wide

Responsibilities:

• Support speech-language pathologists by implementing individualized treatment plans
• Work directly with students in both group and one-on-one formats
• Accurately document session data and student progress
• Assist in the preparation of therapy materials and resources
• Communicate with staff and families to promote student achievement
• Participate in team meetings and in-services as needed
