Job Title

Contract Price Cost Analyst (CPCA) in the Cost and Pricing Regional Command

Job Description

Serves as Contract Price Cost Analyst (CPCA) in the Cost and Pricing Regional Command.

Reviews contractor's proposals for allocation of overhead expenses.

Analyzes contractor plans, proposals and budgets reflecting sales and resulting bases used for allocation of overhead.

Performs analysis of contractor's final overhead proposals, forward pricing rates, billing rates.

Performs analysis of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), accounting changes, and other formula and allocation.

Maintains a variety of reports and other significant data related to monitoring contractor costs.

Provides technical advice or assistance to pricing personnel and Administrative Contracting Officers in matters concerning contractor proposals.

Prepares a comprehensive pricing report incorporating results of technical and audit evaluations and prepares negotiation objectives.
