PT - Physical Therapist

Home Health Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

The Home Health Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care in a home setting to patients with varied diagnoses including med/surg, cardiac, orthopedic conditions, post-surgical care, and respiratory issues. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and treatment options.
• Utilize various medical equipment and devices, including gait belts, walkers, and oxygen supplies.
• Identify signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse.
• Implement safety and injury prevention strategies in home settings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience required.
• OASIS training preferred.
• Current Florida RN license or Compact license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
• COVID-19 vaccination required or an approved exemption on file.
• Flu vaccination or declination required.
