Job Description Job Description Emerald Loop Bar and Grill is a lively Irish pub and restaurant offering classic comfort food, quality pints, handcrafted cocktails, and genuine hospitality. We're a high-energy, guest-focused environment that values teamwork, consistency, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. We're seeking a hands-on FOH Floor Manager to lead daily service, support the team, and ensure guests receive warm, efficient, and memorable experiences. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience * Maintain a visible presence on the floor during service * Greet guests, perform table touches, and resolve concerns promptly * Uphold friendly, professional service standards * Ensure atmosphere reflects the pub's brand (music, lighting, cleanliness, energy) Team Leadership * Communicate daily priorities * Coach servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff * Assist with training and onboarding * Enforce uniform, appearance, and conduct standards * Ensure staff certifications are current Service Operations * Oversee host stand and seating flow * Manage sections * Monitor ticket times and coordinate with kitchen and bar * Troubleshoot service issues in real time Qualifications * 3+ years of FOH management experience in a pub, casual dining, or high-volume restaurant * Strong guest service and leadership skills * Organized, reliable, and calm under pressure * Flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays) * TOAST experience required What We Offer * Competitive compensation * Supportive leadership team * Employee discounts and benefits Company Description Neighborhood Irish bar located in the Chicago Loop, next to the Chicago Theatre, steps away from Chicago Riverwalk with great food, craft beer and cocktails.
