This is an on-site senior-level opportunity ideal for experienced Bay Area heavy civil construction professionals who want close involvement with field operations, project teams, and leadership. Note: Candidates must have 8+ years of directly relevant project management and estimating experience involving concrete, dirt/earthwork, and heavy civil construction. Job Description Lead heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction and estimating through final completion Prepare and oversee estimates, budgets, takeoffs, bid packages, pricing, and proposals Manage concrete, earthwork, dirt, foundations, and related heavy civil scopes Lead project planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, change management, and overall financial performance Coordinate closely with field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, owners, engineers, and project stakeholders Identify constructability issues, project risks, cost-saving opportunities, and alternative approaches Support and lead competitive bidding and preconstruction strategy for public and private projects Mentor junior project management and estimating team members Maintain strong client relationships while ensuring projects meet quality, schedule, and profitability goals Qualifications 8+ years of directly relevant heavy civil construction project management and estimating experience Strong background in concrete, dirt/earthwork, and heavy civil construction Proven ability to manage estimating and project execution responsibilities Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, takeoffs, bidding, and cost control Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, scopes, and construction documents Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills Able to work on-site in Livermore, CA Bay Area construction experience strongly preferredSpecialty foundations, drilled foundations, earth retention, soil nailing, underpinning, or similar experience is highly preferred Why You Will Love Working Here Bonus structure plus profit sharing Profit-sharing contribution is approximately 15% of salary plus bonus into a managed account 100% company-paid health and medical coverage Significant responsibility and visibility across high-value civil construction projects Opportunity to influence estimating strategy, project execution, profitability, and team development Join an experienced, stable organization with a long history in specialty heavy civil construction Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr Orion Placement
