Assistant Project Field Superintendent The Krill Co., Inc. is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Project Field Superintendent for hire. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of field-related duties and assist the Field Superintendent in responsibilities, including but not limited to: Field engineering and layout Subcontractor coordination Scheduling and procurement of materials. Manpower planning Field documentation and daily reporting. Safety meetings and audits Toolbox talks Contract management RFI submission and logs Shop drawing review Cost-control management Pull-planning skills Requirements: We are seeking a self-starter with a proactive management approach and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with project management staff, consultants, architects, and clients. Key qualifications include: 1-3 years of field experience. Education in construction management (bachelor's degree preferred), related degree, or trade background. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, P6, and Plangrid/Autodesk (project management software). LEED AP accreditation (Preferred). Industry certifications in Safety and Trade skills. Proficient in reading, comprehending, and interpreting construction documents (specifications, shop drawings, and project plans). Background, drug, and alcohol background checks are mandatory requirements for employment.
